What to expect during your consultation with Nurse Sam
Consultations are the time for you to get to know your practitioner. They are an important part for your Nurse or Doctor to get an understanding of your concerns, the areas you are wanting improvement and to go through which treatment options are best suited to your concerns when it comes to antiageing treatments.
Treatment options to discuss during your consultation
Volume restoration treatments
As we age, we loose collagen and elastin in the skin, causing the skin to be less tight and smooth, we loose hydration in the skin and we slowly loose the bone structure in the face. Volume restoration treatments can be utilised in your treatment plan to restore the areas of the face that have started to deplete, this can provide support to the tissue to lift and support the areas of the face that are showing signs of ageing.
Muscle Relaxing Treatments
A lot of our fine lines are caused by overactive muscles in the face and neck. There are 2 types of lines, dynamic lines and static lines. Dynamic lines are there when we are actively using our muscles, but the skin returns to normal at rest, static lines are the lines that you continue to see when you are at rest. We can discuss treatments available to relax these muscles that are over working and causing premature damage to the skin.
Skin Needling
Skin needling is a minimally invasive dermal treatment, that will assist in slowing down the ageing process. It can help with skin hydration for the fine lines in the surface of your skin, pigmentation that causes uneven tone in the skin and also helps to stimulate collagen and elastin production to help strengthen and smooth the skins imperfections
